Work commissioned by the state.

Engagements where the client is a ministry, parliament, or supervisory authority, and the deliverable is a published instrument of public policy.

2026 — lead author

New Technologies and a Digitally Resilient Finland

Lead author of the 2026 ministerial report for the Finnish Ministry of Transport and Communications. The report sets out a measurable framework for Finnish digital resilience and surveys four technology vectors — blockchain, edge computing, IoT, and post-quantum security — that will define the next decade of resilience decisions. Operating roles inside supervised entities.

Roles where the work is bounded by financial supervision, AML obligations, and operational-resilience requirements — and where policy positions are tested against a P&L.

Solidate Oy — Head of Growth & Strategy

Leading growth acceleration for Solidate Oy, a Nordic fintech building digital tools for sustainable finance. The role sits at the intersection of regulated finance, product strategy, and the policy environment the rest of this site is about.

Potamoi Group Oy — Chief Executive Officer

CEO of Potamoi Group, the holding structure behind a portfolio of technology and policy ventures. Engineering design, business strategy, and the operational glue that lets several distinct businesses share a back office.

2021 — 2024

NORDXE — Chief Executive Officer

CEO of NORDXE, a regulated Nordic digital-assets exchange focused on gaming-related assets. Three years building the regulatory, organisational, and product foundations of a Nordic crypto venue through the MiCA transition — and a hands-on education in EU financial supervision, AML practice, and operational resilience.

§ 03Advisory & governance

Standing seats at the table.

Long-running advisory relationships with public institutions and private operators. Engagements are conducted independently of operational roles under conflict-of-interest discipline.

Statistics Finland — Advisory board member

Advising the national statistics authority on data, methodology, and the public-information environment. Statistics infrastructure is one of the quietest pillars of democratic legitimacy; the advisory work focuses on keeping it credible under modern data conditions.

2021 — 2025

Solidate Oy — Senior Advisor

Four-year contract advisory relationship with Solidate prior to taking on the operational role. Strategy, regulatory positioning, and partnership architecture in the Nordic fintech market.

Independent consulting — ministries, regulators, operators, boards

Long-running mandates across finance, telecommunications, cloud, energy, and the public sector. Typical work: technology strategy reviews, regulatory readiness for MiCA, NIS2, the EU AI Act and EUCS, sovereign-cloud procurement support, and post-quantum migration planning.

Building the literacy that policy depends on.

Cross-partisan and party-political work to give Finnish democratic institutions the technical literacy they need to legislate well.

2021 — present

tietopolitiikka.fi — Co-founder & editor

A cross-partisan Finnish platform for evidence-based information policy. Brings together ministers, MPs, civil servants, and researchers around a shared technical literacy. The model is deliberately Finnish; the principle is exportable.

2020 — present

SDP — Secretary, technology working group

The person who actually writes the policy for the Social Democratic Party of Finland: drafting the technology positions, translating them into legislative and party-political language, and making sure proposals survive contact with a parliamentary group. Mentoring a generation of technically literate parliamentarians along the way.

§ 05Teaching & writing

Where the arguments get tested.

Teaching is where arguments are stress-tested before they reach print. Writing is where they are submitted for public scrutiny.
